 In A Timely Manner

This is a second sample of my Level Design work, this time focusing more so on Puzzle Design. This level was created in Portal 2, using the game's in-built editor. Designing a Puzzle Level is an extremely nuanced endeavour, but it can be extremely rewarding and insightful as a game designer, and developer.​

In my experience developing this level in Portal 2, I learnt a lot of theory about design, I hadn't considered before, e.g. in order to leave the player with a feeling of revelation, the puzzle will require a catch and possible misdirection, design techniques that work in optimizing the experience of the player to one they will feel a sense satisfaction from, something that will keep them coming back to any game.

Finally, below you can see a document of the development process of my Puzzle Level in Portal 2, as well as me going through many techniques and methodology used in order to deliver a fulfilling puzzle level, some of which mentioned in this short summary, but also many more.
